Once in a while I blog about people that inspire me. Today I came across a article on Jamie Oliver.
For those of you who are not familiar with him ( I cannot imagine there being to many!) he is a chef from England. The great thing about him is the fact that he is down to earth and makes his shows look so easy and so yummy that one wants to dash off and make everything he makes.
I first started watching Jamie Oliver when my son Adam was four. We would sit infront of the television and watch him from start to finish. Now you all know how busy four year old little boys can be but somehow when it came to watching Jamie Oliver's cooking show Adam would sit transfixed to the screen. Since then I have followed his amazing career and have most of his cook books at home.
His first cookbook was called THE NAKED CHEF and since then there have been many others that have followed including two restaurants, a product line and then of course reshaping the school meals for all kids across Britian... check it out ..
What I love about all his products is the clever packaging.. simple but speaks to you.
He has two restaurants one called Jamie's Italian and the other one called Fifteen which symbolises the years he has been known... wish he would open up here in the USA.
Anyhow I thought with the economy the way that it is worldwide and everyone no matter where you are is trying to save money I would find a recipe of his that is easy to make, will feed the whole family and not cost a fortune. I came across this one which sounds delicious and is simple to follow.
